What the different?Some people said that a statesman or stateswoman is better then a politician?
But let see what the definition of statesman and politician according to Wikipedia:
A politician (from Greek "polis") is an individual who is involved in influencing public decision making through the influence of politic or a person who influences the way a society is governed through an understanding of political power and group dynamic. This includes people who hold decision-making positions in government, and people who seek those positions, whether by means of election, coup d'etat, appointment, electoral fraud, conquest, right of inherited (see also: divine right) or other means.
A statesman or stateswoman is usually a politician or other notable figure of state who has had a long and respected career in politics at the national and international level. As a term of respect, it is usually left to supporters or commentators to use the term.
From the definition above is look like there's nothing that make a politician different than a statesman or woman except a rough interceptions that a atatesman is Old Politician, because actually they are a One person in different age who get involve in politic.
Everytime I hear about the word 'Politic' mentions infront of me, my imagination go back to the era when Rome was destroy. And that is because of betray, intric and blood. So politic in my mind is something that very scary and untrustworthy.

That's means in all time and situation we couldn't run away from 'politic' because it's already deep implement in our daily activity. I can say I hate politic but I know beyond doubt that perhaps I'm already get involve long before I realize that's I hate 'politic'.
